Roderick M. Steiner, 72, of Ionia, passed away peacefully in his sleep on 
Monday, April 30, 2007.  He was born on January 21, 1935 in Potterville, the 
son of Edward and Helen (Penny) Steiner.

Roderick is preceded in death by his wife, Connie. He is survived by his son, 
Scott (Sheri) Steiner; daughter, Pam (Rod) Knepper; 9 grandchildren; and 2 
great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place according to his wishes.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Easton 
Twp. Cemetery on Johnson Rd., Ionia; with Pastor Wade Hatfield presiding. A 
luncheon will follow the service at the Ionia Moose Lodge. In lieu of flowers, 
contributions may be made to the Ionia Area Hospice in Roderick's name.
