The Ionia County News, Thursday, October 22, 1942
Ferdinand Steinke, 79, died at his home in Morley last Saturday, October 17.  
Funeral service was held from the Lutheran church at Howard City, Monday 
afternoon.

Mr. Steinke is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Fred Le Valley and 
Mrs. Herman Hacker of Ionia; seven sons, Rudolph of South Ionia, Albert of 
Belding, Fred of Onsted, Herman of Minneapolis, Minn., William of Grand 
Rapids, Arnold of Kalamazoo and Otto of Morley.
