The Hastings Reminder, January, 2014


Jimmy Ray Stephens, age 40, of Lake Odessa passed away unexpectedly at his home 
on Thursday, January 9, 2014.  He was born on January 18, 1973 in Ionia, MI to 
Kristina (West) and James Stephens.  Jimmy was a very hard worker and enjoyed 
helping everyone however he could.  He loved hunting and fishing along with 
spending time with family. 

Jimmy leaves behind: Parents Kristina (Andy) Eastridge, father James (Nikki) 
Stephens, son Damian Dakota Ray Stephens, sister Tonya (David) White, brother 
Andy (Janelle) Eastridge Jr., sister Jean (Gary) Roundtree, sister Jamie Budha, 
sister Jessica Harwood, brother Dustin Stephens, grandmother Hilda West, 
grandfather Harold Stephens, nieces Ashley and Aubree White, nephew Alec White, 
special cousin and friend Todd Gould, friends Kevin (Marcie) Curry, close 
friends Logan Engle and Joe Rodriguez, dog Buster along with many other loved 
family members and friends.  Preceding Jimmy in death are brother Jessie Scott 
Stephens and son DeVon Fry. 

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2pm at the 
Koops Funeral Chapel 935 4th Ave, Lake Odessa MI, 48849.
