JAMES HAROLD STEPHENS, JR.
Lake Odessa, MI - James Harold Stephens, Jr. age 59 of Lake Odessa, died Friday 
Nov. 4, 2016 at Spectrum Butterworth, Grand Rapids.

Jim was born April 29, 957 to James Harold Stephens and Dorothy (Pinky) Gould 
Stephens. He attended Lakewood High School. He married Nikki Stank on June 12, 
2009.

Jim is the beloved father to four daughters, Tanya (David) White, Jean (Gary) 
Rountree, Jamie Stephen-Bada and Jessica Lin Harwood; three sons, James, Jessie, 
and Dustin Stephens; one brother, David E. Stephens; six sisters, Chris 
Goodenough, Cathy (Larry) Harshman, Cilena Stephens, Crystal Gibson, Marie 
Stansell and Kimberly Santiago.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy; sons, James Raymond Stephens 
and Jessie Scott Stephens.

Jim was the "King Jokester". Jim's favorite thing to do was joking around making 
others laugh which made his day and theirs.

Jim was an avid fisherman and hunter, enjoyed all things outdoors. His favorite 
indoor activities included family card and board games and watching TV. Jim was 
also known as the "Chauffeur". He was not a rich man in wealth but was in heart.

The Stephens family received guests at Koops Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 
from 4-7 PM.

A memorial luncheon was held on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016 at 1 PM at Cunningham's 
Acre, Lake Odessa.

In lieu of customary remembrances, contributions are suggested to the family for 
Jim's final care.
