         Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

                  JACK STERZICK

Died Thursday August 10, 1989-age 64 formerly of Saranac.
Born December 14, 1924 in South Boston Twp. to John & Helen (Woodhead) Sterzick.
Jack was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Attended the First United Methodist Church of Ionia.
Married Joyce Smith of Saranac, on February 19, 1944.
Survived by wife, Joyce, daughter, Sandra Baker,Ionia; two sons, Charles of 
Muir, John of Saranac, two sisters, Lorraine Goelhood, Lowell, Esther Ransom, 
Grand Rapids; eight grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Lake Funeral Home, Saranac.
Rev. Keith Bovee officiating.
Burial in Saranac Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8:30, Saturday from 2 to 4 & 7 
to 8:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions to Ionia Hospice or First United Methodist Church of 
Ionia.
