Ionia Sentinel Standard, 8 Aug 1988

Helen A. Sterzick, 93, of Lowell, died Aug. 6 at the Lowell Medical Care
Facility.  She was born May 27, 1895, the daughter of Thomas and Anna Fogg
Woodhead.  She was married to John B. Sterzick; he died in 1975.

Surviving are a son, John J. Sterzick pf Palmetto, Fla., formerly of Ionia; two
daughters, Esther Ransom of Grand Rapids and Lorene Geelhood of Lowell; several
grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Roth-Gerst Funeral Chapel, Lowell,
with the Rev. David Hagens of Lowell Congregational Church officiating.  Burial
will be in Merriman Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home Monday
from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.  A memorial has been established for the
American Cancer Society.
