Belding News, 16 Dec 1909

Mrs. Hattie Stevens died suddenly last Saturday afternoon, of heart failure, in 
Will Case’s grocery store while shopping, aged 50 years.  She has been a resident 
of Belding about two years and is survived by four children, as follows:  Mrs. 
Lottie Short and Mrs. Nellie Moore of Warren, O., and Harry and Lizzie Goodworth 
of this city.  Her remains were taken to Sand Lake for interment where funeral 
services were held at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon.
