Arilla D. Stevens, 82, of Ionia, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on 
Wednesday, February 26, 2003.  She was born on July 21, 1920 in Fowler the 
daughter of Silas and Mabel (Johnson) Bennett.  Her family was the most 
important thing in her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo and son, Bruce.  She is survived 
by her children, Sonja (David) Crawford, Juanita (Buddy) Blaisdell, Victor 
(Joan) Stevens, Eric (Carol) Stevens, Ernie Stevens; daughter-in-law, Jeannie 
Walters; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Donald Graham, Pastor of Zion 
United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Saturday, at The Cook Funeral Home, 220 Rich 
Street, Ionia.  Interment will take place at a later date at Ford Cemetery, in 
Elsie, Michigan.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 
a.m. until service time on Saturday.  Memorial contributions may be made to the 
wishes of the family in memory of Arilla D. Stevens.
