Rev. S. Stevens, who has resided at Matherton since he discontinued active work 
in the ministry, some two years ago, died Sunday evening at his home in that 
village.  The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the U.B. church 
and interment was made in the East Plains cemetery, north of Pewamo.
