Ionia Sentinel Standard, 14 Dec 1978

Bessie May Stevens, 91, of 130 North King Street, Lyons died at the Ionia 
County Memorial hospital after a long illness.  She was born November 6, 1887 
in Pontiac, the daughter of Edward and Agnes Stevens.  She was a secretary all 
her life, retiring from Chrysler Corporation, Detroit, in 1947.  In 1948 she 
moved to Lyons and lived with a friend.

Survivors include one half-sister, Cleo McClintock of Pontiac.

Funeral services and burial will be private, but friends and relatives may call 
at the Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir.
