The Ionia Weekly Standard, Friday, March 18, 1910

Sherman Stevens of Easton, 17 years old, died at 1 o’clock Sat. morning.  
Funeral at M. E. church, Saranac, at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Sherman Stevens was born in Berlin township, Ionia Co., Mich., in 1891, and 
died March 12, 1910 in Easton township, at the home of Wm. Grummet. 

He was the son of Charles H. and Amanda Stevens.  He is survived by his 
mother, brother and two sisters.

Funeral services were held in the M. E. church in Saranac, March 14, burial at 
Saranac, Rev. G. K. Fairbank officiating.
