Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Mon. July 8, 1957

Mrs. Blanche Stevens, 75, of 420 King street, Ionia, died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday 
at her home following several months illness.

Born in Saranac, November, 12, 1881 she was a daughter of Osborn and Isabella 
DeGraw and lived in Ionia 41 years. She was married to Milo Stevens in Ionia 
May 17, 1899. She lived at her present home for 35 years.

Mr. Stevens died in July of 1947 and one son, Kenneth, died in March of 1947.

She was a member of the First Methodist church of Ionia.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Paul Leuder of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Melvin 
Huffman o New York City; one sister, Mrs. Grace Edlin; seven grandchildren and 
eight great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be conducted at the Boynton funeral home Wednesday 
afternoon at 2 o’clock by the Rev. Heath Goodwin. Interment will be in Easton 
cemetery.
