Portland Observer - Wed. April 8, 1885

Died. – In this village, Friday morning, March 27th, 1885, at the residence of 
her son, Robt. H. Stevens, Mrs. T. L. Stevens, aged 78 years and 6 days, Mrs. 
Stevens was one of the early settlers of this county, coming to Lyons township, 
almost 50 years ago, and 10 years ago she removed from that township to Portland
