Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 May 1948

Funeral services will be held for Amon Stevens, 72, Saranac, Friday at 1 p.m. at
the Morris funeral home, with burial in the Saranac cemetery.  Mrs. Stevens died
Tuesday in Traverse City.

He was born August 17, 1875, in Berlin township.  He is survived by two sisters,
Mrs. Howard Shephard and Mrs. Orange Fish, ten grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
