Ionia Standard, 1 Mar 1918

Miss Mariah Stevens, 77 years old, died Friday night at the home of her sister,
Miss Mary McPherson, where she had lived for many years.  The funeral was held
there Monday afternoon R.J. Slee officiating.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.]
