Bruce H. Stevens, 61, of Hubbardston, died Monday, Oct. 13 at his residence.  He
was born June 1, 1925, in Lansing, the son of Edward and Ellen (Ceder) Stevens.
 He moved to Hubbardston in 1938.  He was retired from Oldsmobile in Lansing.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa (Gage) of Hubbardston; one daughter, Ellen
Genereux of Hubbardston; one son, Larry Stevens of Hubbardston; one sister,
Margaret Ike of DeWitt; three brothers, Donald Stevens and Charles Stevens, both
of St. Johns, and Richard Stevens of Lansing; one half-sister, Irene Podoba of
Brandt; and three grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one grandson, John
Stevens.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Schnepp Funeral Home in
Carson City, with the Rev. Ray Greinke of the United Methodist Church
officiating.  Military services will be conducted by American Legion Post 182 of
Hubbardston.  Burial will be in East Plains Cemetery, Pewamo.  Friends may call
at the Schnepp Funeral Home Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
