Marianne Stevens, 76, of Belding, passed away Sunday evening, Jan. 6, 2013, at
The Laurels of Carson City.  Marianne was born Dec. 1, 1936 in Wright Township,
Mich., the daughter of Fred and Margaret (Segmen) Raimer.

She graduated from Coopersville High School and retired from Electrolux in 1998
after 30 years of service.  She later worked as a clerk at the Save A Lot Food
Store in Belding.  She always found her work to be enjoyable.  Marianne enjoyed
high school football, basketball, baseball and game shows.  She also enjoyed the
holiday season.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Marianne is loved and survived by her children, Guy Williams of Grand Rapids,
Laurie Williams of Belding, Richard “Chug” and Sandy Williams of Greenville; her
grandchildren, Sarah, Melody, Dustin and LaNessa Williams, Mandy; her
great-grandchild, Destinie; her brother and sister, Floyd Raimer and Lucy
Peterson.  Marianne was preceded by her parents; first husband, Richard
Williams; second husband Dick Stevens; and her brother, Kenny Raimer.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  Memorial services will
be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with
Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  The families will greet relatives and friends
this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may
be given to Alvah N. Belding Library.
