Excerpts from Obituary:
RONALD JAMES STEVENS of Stanton, formerly of Hubbardston.
Died Saturday Feb. 4, 2017-age 80 at his home.
Ron was born Dec. 2,1936, in Saginaw County, the son of Clarence "Frank" and 
Alta may (Mclean) Stevens.
Graduated from Carson City-Crystal High School, Class of 1954.
Joined the U.S. Army Paratroopers with the 101st Airborne.
Married Carole DePue September 19, 1959 in Hubbardston.
Ron worked for General Motors in Lansing as a hi-lo driver until retirement 
in 1995. Was a member of UAW in Lansing.
Enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, travel & wintering in Florida with Carole.
Survived by wife, 4 children, 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren with 
two on the way, 5 siblings, and many nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents and a brother Melin.
A memorial service with Military honors will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the St. 
John the Baptist Hall in Hubbardston.
Interment later in Spencer Cemetery, Crystal. 
Arrangement entrusted to Lux & Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City.
