Sentinel-Std. - Monday April 11, 1932

Frank W. Stevens, 75, was buried April 1 at North Bend, Ore., where he died 
March 29. Mr. Stevens was born in Ionia February 3, 1857, was a farmer in 
Orleans township for many years and later left the farm to return to the 
printing trade where he had previously followed. He was employed for several 
years in the pressroom of the Sentinel and the Standard, in Ionia, about 25 
years ago. He went to North Bend in 1907 and opened a printing shop of his own. 
Surviving are the widow, who was before her marriage in 1880, Miss Caroline 
McClatchit, of Ludington, and four children, Mrs. W.J. Pretzel, of Lake Zurich, 
Ill. Santon Stevens, of Iron Mountain; James L. Stevens of Coquille, Ore.; Mrs. 
George Klinkenbeard of Coos River, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Peck of 
Belding, also survives.
