The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, October 9, 1950
William Stevens, 59, of Lansing, formerly of Ionia died Sunday night at 
Sparrow hospital after being ill for some time.  He was the son of the late 
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Stevens.  Mr. Stevens had an eating stand near the floral 
building at the Ionia free fair for about 30 years, including this year.

Surviving are the wife; three sisters, Myrtle Street and Ruth Cleveland of 
Detroit and Nina Stevens of Florida; and two brothers, Fred and Tom of Lansing.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon from the Gorsline-Runciman 
funeral home in Lansing.
