Sentinel-Standard - Saturday, April 15, 1961

Saranac- Mrs. Phoebe Stevens, 84, died Friday at Belding Community hospital.

She was born in Canada, October 14, 1876.

Her husband, Lewis Stevens, preceded her in death in July 1946.

Surviving are a step-son, Clyde Stevens of Lowell; two foster daughters, Mrs. Alice

Chorley of Saranac and Mrs. Beulah Parker of Ionia; a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Chapman

of Manitowoc, Wis., a brother, Charles Hackely of Los Angeles, Calif. 

Funeral service will be conducted at ______ funeral home Monday at 2:30 p.m. with 
burial at Saranac cemetery. The Rev. Hubert Ellis of Cedar Springs will officiate.
