The Ionia Weekly Standard, Friday, August 25, 1911
The funeral of Charles Edward Stevens was held Wednesday from the late 
residence on Bayard street, a large number of friends and relatives 
attending.  Rev. M. M. Callen of the M. E. church officiated.  Several 
selections were sung by Mrs. Eugene Smith and Miss Marion Spencer.  Interment 
took place in Tuttle cemetery, the body being borne to its last resting place 
by four brothers of deceased, Wesley, William, Frank and Jacob Stevens.
