Ruth A. Stevenson, 88, of Ionia, died Jan. 23, 1995, at the Ionia Manor.  She 
was born July 24, 1906, in Ionia, the daughter of William L. and Anna (Holz) 
Redemsky.  She spent much of her life in the Ionia area.  She was a member of 
St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ionia.  She was employed as a secretary in the 
insurance industry.

She is survived by two daughters: Connie (Richard) Milhem, of Grosse Ponte 
Farms, and Camilla R. Wisgerhof, of Newton, Ia.; two grandchildren: Heather 
Lee Sanders and Scott W. Wisgerhof; one brother, Dr. Louis Redemsky, of 
Williston, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Cook Funeral Home.  
The Rev. Joseph Fremer, of St. John’s Lutheran Church, will officiate.  Burial 
will be at Highland Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 
the time of the service Thursday.  Memorials may be made to St. John’s 
Lutheran Church.  Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
