The sorrow that affected the entire community upon the untimely death of Mrs. 
Rolland Stevenson was reflected Sunday afternoon when many Ionians attended 
the funeral services which were held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. 
Stevenson, High Street.  Mrs. Stevenson’s death occurred Friday in Blodgett 
hospital and was sudden and unexpected, coming as it did upon her apparent 
recovery following birth of an infant daughter three weeks ago.  Rev. Edwin G. 
White was in charge of the services and interment was in Highland Park 
cemetery.

There was an abundance of flowers to bespeak the esteem in which Mrs. 
Stevenson was held among her friends in Ionia, and they were in charge of Mrs. 
Harry J. Callow and Mrs. Harold Lampkin.  Bearers were Harry J. Callow, Harold 
Lampkin, Emra Brogan, Frank Ammon, Dr. J. J. McCann, and Otis F. Cook.
