The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Friday, February 28, 1913


The funeral for John P. Stevenson was held this afternoon from the home of his 
brother F. W. Stevenson.  The service was held at 3:30 o’clock and Rev. M. M. 
Callen of the M. E. church officiated.  The pall bearers were Burton Babcock, 
F. C. Sibley, J. F. Tower, Scott Wood, K. R. Smith, J. C. Taylor.

Those who were here from out of the city to attend were Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Peck 
of Belding, Mrs. Grace Moore, of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Stevenson of 
Stanton.  

Burial was in Highland Park cemetery.  The reading of the burial service and 
prayed was all that was given.
