Ionia Sentinel Standard, 1 Nov 1963

Hampton (Rich) Stevenson, 60, died Thursday afternoon of a heart attack on
Palmetto, Fla.  A native Ionian, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Stevenson.  He was graduated from Ionia high school and University of Wisconsin.
 He moved to Florida three years ago following retirement from J. L. Hudson
company, Detroit, where he was a kitchen designer.  He had previously lived in
Huntington Woods.  He was a member of First Methodist church of Ionia.

Surviving are his wife, Louise; two daughters, Constance and Camilla Stevenson,
both of the Detroit area.

The body will arrive in Ionia Monday morning and funeral services will be
conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Myers funeral home with Rev. Harold Jayne of
First Methodist church officiating.  Burial will be the family lot at Highland
Park cemetery.
