Ionia County News - Thursday, March 12, 1959

Mrs. Emma Jane Stever of 512 Pradley Street, died Tuesday March 3, at the Owosso 
Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Stever had been in failing health the past 15 months.

Born in Clinton County, he was the daughter of Clinton F. and Mary (Travis) 
Smith, and had lived most of her life in Clinton and Shiawassee Counties. She 
attended Clinton County schools, and was married to Otto M. Stever, who preceded 
her in death on January 26, 1936.

Mrs. Stever was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, Ladies Guild of the 
Church and the Elm Street Club.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. E.S. Randolph of Saranac; a step-grandson and a 
step-great granddaughter. 

A son, E.S. Randolph preceded her in death last May.

Funeral service was held Friday, March 6, at the Jennings-Lyons Funeral Chapel 
in Owosso with the Rev. W.D. Davis officiating. Interment was in Oak Hill 
Cemetery.
