Nathan Steward Died Tuesday At Home In Sunfield

Nathan Steward, 68, died at his home in Sunfield early Tuesday morning following
an illness of several months.  He was born near Lake Odessa, and was the son of
Nathan Steward, deceased.

In November, 1889, he was united in marriage to Jennie Bennett.  He had been a
member of the Methodist church for 22 years.  Surviving are the widow, Jennie;
nine children, Charles R., Claude V., Mrs. Ethel Smith, John C., and Dale O.,
all of Sunfield; Arthur D., and Evart A. of Adrian; Albert T. of Olivet; Mrs.
Blanche Folts of Garnett, Kan.; and two sisters, Miss Mertie Steward of Lake
Odessa and Mrs. S.A. Aldrich of Richland.

Funeral services will be held Friday from the Mapes Funeral home with the Rev.
T.W. Thompson of Woodland officiating and interment will be in the Sunfield
cemetery.
