The Belding Banner, Thursday, March 10, 1910

Eliza Stewart, who had passed her ninety-first birthday, died at the home of 
her granddaughter, Mrs. Arthur Fitzjohn on Thursday last, after a short 
illness.  Mrs. Stewart was remarkable bright for one of her years and lived 
here for many years.  The funeral was held at the home Sunday, Rev. L. 
Fletcher of the Free Methodist church officiating, and the remains were taken 
to Green’s cemetery for interment.
