The Ionia daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, January 9, 1954


Funeral services for John H. Stewart, 75, who died at his home January 4, were 
held from the Shaw-Rivett funeral home Wednesday, January 6.  The Rev. Wright, 
pastor of the Muir Church of Christ, officiated.  Music was by Susan White.

Pallbearers were W. G. Bullis, Louis Mason, Earl Lincoln, Herbert Attenbury, 
Walter Huested, and George Hodgeman.  Interment was in Lowe cemetery, Clinton 
County.

Attending from out of town were George Burdick of Wayne; Helen Stephens of 
Elsie, Gladys Coslette of Ionia, Andrew Burdick, William Burdick and Mrs. 
Margaret Burdick of Lansing.
