Ionia Sentinel Standard, 24 Sep 1985

Kenneth William Stewart, 71, of 334 Ionia Street, Muir, died Sunday evening at
Ionia County Memorial Hospital.  He was born Nov. 12, 1913, in Muir, the son of
John and Maude Stewart.  He attended Muir High School.  He was married to
Beatrice Riker in August 1931, and lived all his life in Muir.  He retired in
1972 from the Dana Drop Forage in Lansing as a skilled tradesman.  He was a
member of the Muir Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice, three sons, Clyde and Charles of Muir, and
John of Saranac; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Dutcher of St. Johns and Mrs. Maxine
Robertson of Muir; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  One son,
Kenneth, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Muir Christian Church, the Rev.
Stephen Klink officiating.  Burial will be in Muir Cemetery.  Friends and
relatives may call at Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir, where memorials for the Muir
First Christian Church, Michigan Lung Association and Michigan Heart Association
have been established.
