Funeral services for Edith M. Stewart, 91, of Muskegon were held Tuesday at 
1:30 p.m. at Huffman Funeral Home.  Rev. Fred Hildenbrand of Muskegon 
officiated.  Interment was in the old Belding city cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dale Green, Wilbur Morrison, Merritt Austin, James Stewart, 
Curtis Stewart and Ronald Sandy.

Mrs. Steward, a former Belding resident, died Saturday, June 19 at DeBoer 
Nursing Home in Muskegon.  She was born August 10, 1879, the daughter of Frank 
and Mary Nevins Sandy in Gratiot county.  She was married to William J. Stewart 
who died in 1950.  Mrs. Stewart was a member of Free Methodist Church.

Her survivors include one son, Wilbur (Pat) of Muskegon; three sisters, Mrs. 
Lena Shimmons and Mrs. Clarence Packard of Belding, and Mrs. Ines Burch of 
Wyoming, Michigan; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
