                               Robert Stewart

Robert Stewart, 89, of Ionia passed away Sept.9, 2010 in Grand Rapids.
He was born April 2, 1921 in Cadillac the son of Will and Mabel (Nixon) Stewart. 
Robert Married Dorothy July 15, 1972. He farmed all his life and was always 
around or involved in the agriculture business. He was a member of First United 
Methodist Church, Ionia Wood Carvers and was an avid golfer and enjoyed his 
yard.

Robert is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dorothy Barrie Stewart of Belmont; 
sons, Robert Rodney (Mary Jo) Stewart of Mason, Joseph (Debra) Stewart of Ionia, 
Tim (Peggy) Stewart of Ashland, Oregon and Bill Stewart of Delaware; step-son, 
John (Deborah) Barrie of Grand Rapids; sister Elaine (Bud) West of Pennsylvania, 
9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lyle, Floyd and Lawrence; 
sisters, Frances and Eloise.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, at First United Methodist Church 
in Ionia with Rev.Larry Brown officiating.Interment Rosedale Memorial Park in 
Grand Rapids. Visitation will be held Sunday 2 to 4 p.m at Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions in Robert's name to The 
Christian Rest Home or First Methodist Church. Online condolences may be made at
