The Iona Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, January 4, 1954
John H. Stewart, 75, of Muir, died Monday at 2 a.m. after an illness of four 
years.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. John Stewart of Muir; two daughters, 
Mrs. Maxine Robertson of Muir and Mrs. Bernice Workman of St. Johns; one son, 
Kenneth of Muir; two brothers, Archie Stewart and Isaac Stewart of St. Johns; 
a sister, Mrs. Frank Manning of Lake George and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Shaw-Rivett funeral home Wednesday 
January 6, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Lowe cemetery north of St. Johns.
