Lake Odessa Wave - February 22, 1979
          KELLY STIDHAM
   LAKE ODESSA - Kelly Stidham, 70, of Lake Odessa died Wednesday at his residence. 
 
   He was born September 10, 1908 in Breathitt, Ky., the son of William and Martha
Stidham.
   Stidham attended school in Breathitt and Hazzard, Ky.  On April 14, 1928 he
married Maggie Lee Thorpe in 
Hazzard.
   They lived in Kentucky until 1965 when they moved to Royal Oak where they lived
for three years, moving to 
Lake Odessa in 1968.
  He was employed at Kentucky and Virginia Coal Mines for 37 years and 14 years at
Keller Brass 
Manufacturing of Lake Odessa, retiring in 1972.
   Survivors include his wife Maggie; two sons, John and Walker Stidham of Lake
Odessa; five daughters, Mrs. 
Seldon (Wanda) Haskins of Kentucky; Mr. Edwin (Lottie) Williams of Madison Heights;
Mrs. Gordon (Ruby) 
Arnie of Woodland; Mrs. Allen (Joyce) Pickard of Flint and Mrs Duane (Ann) King of
Houston, Texas; one half-
brother; four half-sisters; 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
   Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake
Odessa.
   Visitation at the chapel will be this evening (Thursday) from 7 to 9 pm and
Friday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
