Ionia Daily Sentinel, 8 Jun 1964

Mrs. Anna J. Stiles, 86, of 618 Batson street, died Sunday afternoon.  She was 
born in Lyons, December 3, 1877, the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Lyman 
DeLaVergne.  She had been ill since April 1.

Mrs. Stiles was a member of First Christian church.  Her husband, Jesse, died 
in 1924.  A son, Winthrop Kimble also preceded her in death in 1918, and a 
daughter, Mrs. Jessie Frost in 1942.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ida Bushong of Pewamo, Mrs. Thelma Page of 
Lowell and Mrs. Bessie Patterson of Ionia; one son, Howard Stiles of Ionia; two 
brothers, Harry and Clarence DeLaVergne of Ionia; 18 grandchildren; 55 great-
grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home.  Interment 
will be in the family lot at Lyons cemetery.
