Lyons Herald, 29 Sep 1921

George D. Stiles, aged ninety years, died Saturday, September 24, after being 
in failing health for several weeks.  He died at the home of Chas. Townsend, 
four miles east of Lyons, where he had made his home for many years with his 
daughter, Ida Stiles.  He is also survived by four other children, Geo. A. 
Stiles, Mrs. F. W. Townsend, Mrs. Harry Martin and Jesse Stiles.  Funeral 
services were held from the Townsend home Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. 
V. C. Webb of the Lyons Baptist church.  Interment in the Lyons cemetery.
