Ionia Standard, 23 Apr 1909

Erwin, son of H.H. Stiles, Grand Rapids, died on Saturday.  Funeral service at
the home.  Remains arrived here by 10 o’clock train Wednesday morning for
interment in Highland Park cemetery.  Had deceased lived until Sunday he would
have attained his 34th year.  The father came to Ionia, the old hometown,
Tuesday to make the funeral arrangements.

The remains of Erwin Stiles were brought to Ionia Wednesday for interment,
accompanied by the wife, the parents, and the Rev. Thomas Neese, of the
Plainfield M.E. church.
