Janice Y. Stiles, 75, of Ionia passed away March 22, 2014, in Ionia.  She was 
born July 2, 1938, in Easton Twp., Mich., the daughter of William and Opal 
(Sniff) Nelson.  Janice married Charles P. Stiles June 28, 1958, in Ionia.  She 
loved to go to the casino, watch the Tigers and spend time with her family. 

Janice is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Charles Stiles of Ionia; 
daughters, Sandra (Jon) Wellman of Ionia, LuAnn (Scott) Tillottson of Ionia and 
Amy (Shawn) Bongard of Ionia; brother, Vern Nelson of Wayne; sister, Virginia 
Trierweiler of Ionia; sister-in-law, Jean Nelson of Ionia; grandchildren, 
Dustin (Melanie) Wellman, Brittney Wellman, Kaci Mangus and Bob Holford, Dana 
Mangus and Montrell Reynolds, Belinda (Marty) Overkamp, Nick Tillottson, Sydni 
Tillottson, Mackenzie Bongard and Shawny Bongard; and great grandchildren, 
Khloe, Jovi, Chase and Jordan. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Max Nelson and Ralph 
Nelson; and one granddaughter, Caitlin.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, at the Lake Funeral 
Home of Ionia with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment Easton 
Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial 
contributions may be made to Ionia Commission on Aging.
