                STILES

Charles Phillip Stiles, age 91 of Ionia, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 
2025.He was born on September 24, 1933, in Ionia, the son of Howard and Ida 
(Witmar)Stiles. On June 28, 1958, he married the love of his life, the former 
Janice Nelson, she preceded him in death in 2014.

Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing card.He was a long-time member of 
the Ionia Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his children, Sandra(Jon)Wellman of Ionia, LuAnn (Scott) 
Tillotton o Ionia and Amy(Shawn)Bongard of Ionia; brother, Dale "Butch" (Carol) 
Stiles of Ionia; girlfriend,Lois Sprague; grandchildren,Dustin (Melanie)Wellman, 
Brittney Wellman, Kaci Mangus, Belinda Tillottson, Dana Mangus, Nick (Maggie) 
Tillottson, Sydni(Bryan) McKendry, Mackenzie Bongard and Shawn Bongard; great-
grandchildren, Chase Holford, Khloe Willman, Jovie Overkamp, Kennedy Overkamp, 
Jordan Reynolds, Rylin Wellman and Clair McKendry; special nephew, Bradley 
Stiles and special friends, Bob Darnell and Dick Knoop.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Janice; brother, Howard"Bud" Stiles, 
and sistersJoyce Yaw and Patricia Slater.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ionia Moose Lode on March 22nd 2-5pm. 
The family would like to extend their thanks to Sparrow Hospice for the great
