The Ionia Daily Standard, Tuesday, February 9, 1892
Henry G. Stiles, who died yesterday at the residence of his son, Henry H. 
Stiles, 631 East Main street, was an old resident, settling in Berlin 48 years 
ago, coming here from the state of New York.  He soon afterwards moved into 
the village of Ionia, residing here 26 years, and then moved back to the 
Berlin farm where he lived about twenty years, and then moved to Ronald which 
has since been his home.  He came to the city about five weeks ago, and has 
been with his son here during that time.  Death was the result of la grippe.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow from the Wesleyan church, Berlin; 
interment in the Letz cemetery near Tremayne’s corners.
