Portland Advertiser - Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1868

In this village on the 13th inst. of Typhoid Fever, Mr. Francis Stilson, in the 39th

year of his age.

                                    OBITUARY.
Kind Providence has permitted death to enter a once happy home in our village, and 
it has taken from our midst, a good citizen, from his wife a dear companion, from 
his little son and affectionate father, and from his other relations and friends, a

man of loving kindness. He was so plain in  manners, so pure in heart, so agreeable

in the social circle, so useful in the sick room and in all his intercourse with the

world, that he was beloved by all. He was a fried friend and a noble man, with whom
