Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, June 18, 1957

Mrs. Della Nora Stilwell, 75, died Monday afternoon at an Ionia convalescent 
home, following an illness of a year and a half. She was born at Sidney Center, 
Montcalm county, June 12, 1882.

May 6, 1900, she was married to Corel A. Stilwell at Sheridan and in 1912, came 
to Ionia. Mrs. Stilwell was a member of the Ionia Methodist church. Her husband 
preceded her in death in 1955.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Courser of Jupiter, Fla. and 
Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Smith of Ionia; five sons, Milton and Merrett of Ionia, 
Charles and Harold of Grand Rapids and Melvyn of Seattle, Wash., 17 
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the 
Stone-Kauffman funeral home with the Rev. Heath Goodwin officiating. Interment 
will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
