Service Held For Rosa Stinchcomb

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa M. Stinchcomb were held from the Mapes-Fisher 
Funeral home in Sunfield on Tuesday, January 4. Mrs. Stinchcomb, 81, passed away 
January 1 at Pennock Hospital, Hastings.

She was born January 15, 1890 a daughter of William and Leona (Davids) Bennett. 
A registered pharmacist, for many years she and her late husband, Archie owned 
and operated a drugstore and Post Office in Sunfield. They moved to Lake Odessa 
24 years ago and she worked in Braden's Drug Store part time.

She was a life member of Sunfield O.E.S. member of White Shrine of Charlotte and 
First Congregational Church of Lake Odessa. She transferred to the Lake Odessa 
Eastern Star lodge when she moved here and was an active member until her 
illness fourteen years ago.

There were no survivors.

Rev. Gary Lyon officiated at the rites. Interment was in Sunfield Cemetery.
