Only a short time ago she took leave of her friends here before becoming the happy bride of Mr. Charles Stinchfield. She was almost an idolized daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Thayer of Ionia, where, in a home calculated to develop a taste and love for music, she accepted every advantage conscientiously with an unusual devotion, both to parents and music. Many have been charmed by her sweet singing, her artless, winning ways, and loving spirit. Long will she be remembered as one of earth’s fairest and loveliest flowers, and long will her untimely death be deplored.
