Lyons Herald, 10 Feb 1910

Mrs. Margaret Stingel, wife of George Stingel, passed away at her home in Lyons 
at 9:30 p.m. February 2, with pneumonia.

Mrs. Stingel was born in the county Tiprary, Ireland, October 31, 1848, and 
came to this country when nine years old.  She was married to Geo. W. Stingel 
June 9, 1877, and has resided in Lyons most of the time since.

She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband, Geo. W. Stingel, two 
daughters Mrs. N. H. Olson and Florence Kerkowski of Chicago, three sons, R. 
O’Hearn of Byron, Mich., James Wilson of Lyons, Geo. Stingel, Jr. of Thornton, 
Ill., and one sister Mrs. Kate Patterson of Mulliken, besides a host of friends.

The funeral services were held Saturday, February 5th, from the Catholic Church 
at St. Johns.  Burial in St. Johns cemetery.
