The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, April 23, 1965

Funeral service will be at Myers funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m. for Burdick 
Stites, 51, of route one, who died April 21.

He was born in Grand Rapids, December 23, 1913, the son of Peter and Shirley 
Burdick Stites, and was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are a brother, Harvey D. Stites of Grand Rapids; three sisters, Mrs. 
Grant Trowbridge of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Vern Bogart of Brighton and Mrs. Charles 
Eggstaff of Poway, Calif.

Officiating will be the Rev. Hubert Callahan and interment will be at Palo 
cemetery.
