The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, October 16, 1945

Funeral services for Gerald Stitt, 45, who died Wednesday morning at Blodgett 
hospital, were held from his home in Easton township Saturday afternoon at 
2:30 o’clock with Dr. Paul Stewart officiating, assisted by the Rev. Mr. 
Maxsom of Grand Rapids.  Burial was at Easton cemetery.

Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Leo Fuller, Mrs. Tom McKendry, Mrs. Brice 
Haddock and Mrs. Edwin Yeomans.

Bearers were Ford Rowley, Kenneth Rowley, Leo Fuller, Tom McKendry, John 
McKendry and William Hickock.
