Stiven, 78, for years a resident of Ionia, died Tuesday morning at 6 o’clock at the home of his son W. P. Stiven, Detroit. The body will arrive in Ionia Thursday afternoon at 3:40, accompanied by Mrs. Jean Templeton. It will repose at the Boynton funeral chapel until Friday morning at 9:45 when the funeral service will be conducted, the burial following in the Highland Park cemetery by the side of Mrs. Stiven who died in 1920. Surviving are two sons, W. P. Stiven of Detroit and Prof. Frederic B. Stiven of Urbana, Ill, and a sister, Mrs. Adelaid Templeton of Jackson. Mr. Stiven had lived practically all of his life in Ionia and was considered one of the best of accountants. He was employed for years by the W. C.
