Stockton, 74 year old Belding painter and decorator who died Friday at his home at 537 Earle Street after an illness of five months. A resident of Belding for the past 37 years Mr. Stockton, was a native of Iowa. He was a member of the Belding Church of God and was married on December 24, 1907 to Jemina Barnhart at Altona. Besides his wife survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Goldie E. Lyons and Mrs. Lola Huey, both of Belding; two sons, Stephen of Belding and John H. of Greenville; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Harbeck of Moline, Ill, and Mrs. Grace Ketelsen of Everely, Iowa; a half-brother, Lionel Randell of Oregon City, Ore. and 16 grandchildren. Burial was at River Ridge cemetery, Belding.
